How do you win at Yahtzee?
I know it's whoever has the highest score from the dice at the end, but I never seem to be able to get what I am rolling for. Is there like a special technique you are supposed to use while shaking the cup, like say if I am going for 5's? I want to be able to finally beat my sister's score!
Something that helps is to make sure you get your 35 point bonus on the top section by getting an average of 3 dice per number (1-6). This is easy if you get 4-sixes. Then you can still take a single 1 or 2 for those times you are shooting for something else, but didn't quite get it.
Plus, if you do get yahtzee, you get a bonus 100 points for subsequent yahtzees.
